Service Opportunities
Our church believes in the power of missions to extend Christ's love beyond our walls and into the world around us both locally and internationally. We are committed to sharing the Gospel, serving those in need, and reflecting God's compassion. Through prayer, support and action we aim to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Local Missions - Calvary Cares
Second Story is one of Calvary's local mission partners. There are several ways that Calvary comes alongside Second Story to serve. This includes back-to-school backpacks, yard clean-up days, inside organization, toy donations, and more. For more information about Second Story, visit their website: https://www.second-story.org/

International Missions
Alabaster Offering - February
The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the world. While we understand the church consists of the people of God and not a building, buildings erected for the purpose of ministry help provide a sense of permanence, functionally enhance ministry efforts, and convey an attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends to "put down roots."
World Mission Broadcast - June
World Mission Broadcast desires to create a place for people across the world to connect with each other in a time where it is needed now more than ever. We are reaching beyond borders and barriers to share the light of Jesus in the dark corners of our world. Thanks to today’s technology we are able to connect with others worldwide and broadcast for the better. Now more than ever, it is time to refocus and share the message of hope in Jesus.
Faith Promise - September
Faith Promise is a program in the Church of the Nazarene that encourages members to give more than their regular tithes and offerings to support global missions. Calvary Church has a special Faith Promise Service in September, where we celebrate with our Annual Faith Promise International Dinner and make commitments to pledge money to go toward missions for the year.
